Issue #1 · The Crown Awakens

Thousands of years ago, before Greece and Rome, the First Empress gave her life to imprison the warlord Malachar beneath her temple. Today, New York archaeologist Valentina Romano uncovers that lost civilization on the Aegean coast and the golden headband its queen left behind. When she puts it on, an ancient power awakens within her, and so does Malachar.
