Gravewater

A record drought drains the swamp outside Calusa Key and exposes the town that drowned in 1926. Former crime scene tech Mari Reyes, now a broke airboat guide, takes a TV crew out to film the ruins at night. Inside the sunken church, forty bodies sit in the pews, perfectly preserved and all facing the door. By morning two of the crew are missing, and the third walks into town humming a hymn nobody has sung in a hundred years.
