Lodestar

For twenty years Lodestar has guarded the world, and for twenty years he has never lost. Then a sleek social platform called Null asks one quiet question of every screen on Earth: what has he ever really done for you? As belief in him begins to crack, Thomas Hale, a tired high school history teacher, feels his strength tremble in his own hands. When a bridge over the Allegheny begins to fall, the whole city is watching, and every phone is ready.
