By night, Nancy Nightingale becomes Nightveil, a shadow who leaves criminals tied up for the police with a polite note. But when the District Attorney is found dead behind a locked door, with a black funeral card reading “Everyone has an expiration date,” Nightveil and her cousin Naomi uncover a trail of vanished witnesses leading to funeral home magnate Victor Graves. And Graves already knows her real name.
